Dr Frank Chai graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2000 and has over 15 years of experience in general practice. He has worked across a wide range of settings in Singapore, rural and regional Victoria, and the northern suburbs of Melbourne giving him a broad and adaptable approach to patient care.
His clinical special interests are in family medicine, seeing patients across all ages and life stages, chronic disease management, mental health, men’s health, and contraceptive care including Implanon insertion and removal.
He believes in thorough, unhurried consultations where patients feel heard and actively involved in their own care decisions. Frank’s patients describe him as friendly and attentive. He treats every person with respect and personal attention, and he brings that same standard to his work with individuals, couples, and families alike.
He speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay, and Hakka fluently, enabling him to serve both the local Australian and Chinese-speaking communities in Blackburn North in the language of their choice.
