Dr Mabel Leung completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of Melbourne and discovered her love of general practice during her residency rotations. She completed her FRACGP qualification and has been working part-time in general practice ever since, enjoying the diversity that every day in general practice brings.
Mabel’s special interests are in women’s and children’s health, skin cancer medicine, and preventative health. Areas where she can build long-term relationships with patients and help them stay ahead of potential issues before they become serious. She takes a thorough, proactive approach to health management, working with patients to identify risk factors and put strategies in place early.
As a mother of two girls, she understands the practical realities of family health from both sides of the consultation desk, and she brings that pragmatic perspective to her work with families. When she is not at the clinic she is usually out in nature, making the most of time away from the desk.
